Lisa Taccardi, Founder of Angels Watching Over You, Inc.

Lisa Taccardi, founder and president of Angels Watching Over You, Inc., recognized early in her career while caring for her elderly clients that they responded better when they realized that someone cared for them completely, not just for their particular physical impairments and ailments. Her goal for the comprehensive care company is to meet the needs of the whole person, not just an illness. Taccardi believes that the mental, physical and spiritual wellness of a person is all interconnected. Her mission is to meet those needs in a compassionate, loving way showing respect for the quality of life while being sensitive to an individual's social and cultural values.

Certified as a Senior Advisor, Taccardi has received specialized training in aging and the important issues that affect seniors. After completing an intensive study, Taccardi passed a challenging, national exam to receive her certification. She is also a member in good standing with the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.

Taccardi puts her business acumen and spirit to work in the non-profit community as well, serving in leadership capacities in organizations throughout the Bridgeport and greater Waterbury areas, including:
