Compassion, personal attention, and sincerity are blended onto the care provided by Angels Watching Over You Inc., a holistic care alternative for the elderly.

President and Owner Lisa Taccardi takes the time to use an interview process for both care providers and clients.

"We do an extensive profile and find a match when the time comes for care," Taccardi said.

The name Angels Watching Over You Inc., and the story behind it say much about the organizations heartfelt approach to their clients.

Years ago Taccardi was worried about her son, who traveled much of the time. "A friend finally said not to worry, he'll have angels watching over him. At that point, a sense of calm came over me," she said.

That sense carried over into her work. "I thought clients would feel that same," Taccardi said.

Care providers range from companions to registered nurses. Services could include running errands, light housekeeping, helping a client keep doctors appointments, to 24-hour in-home care.

Taccardi's intent is to offer assistance and help a person live as comfortably as possible, and if they are living home, to remain there as long as possible.

Care providers will come to a client's home, assisted living center, visit clients in a hospital for companionship, and more.

Further, Taccardi takes pride in explaining that if a family member calls, she will also advise them of assistance available, including guidance if they are eligible for Medicaid, "Its not strictly private pay," she said.

Aside from clients, she also extends service to families. A support group for adults who care for their elderly parents will begin soon.
